| From the lifeboat station follow the main road for a few yards and then keep right at the first junction and right again at the second junction to follow the tarmac road which goes more or less alongside the small cliff and the sea. Where the tarmac ends go through the gate and follow the coastal path up the hill to the War Memorial. |

| From the War Memorial descend to the small cliff lined bay adjoining the caravan site. Follow the coastal path with its ascents and welcoming descents until you reach the house and old quay at Wallog. not a bad point for a break to take your sandwiches. |

| Near the stream you will see a track leading away from the shore. Follow it for over half a mile until you arrive at the Borth to Aberystwyth Road B4572. |
Leg 4: Leg distance 2 mile(s) Start of leg GR: SN599854

| Cross the B road on to the lane directly opposite. Walk along the lane for two miles passing the houses Wileiriog Fach and Wileiriog uchaf. Turn neither right nor left at any junction, until you descend a narrow wooded valley arriving at a hair pin bend at the bottom, to the left of which is a track. |

| At the hair pin bend turn left to follow the track for over three quarters of a mile to emerge on to a lane just past the entrance track to Cilolwg farm on the right. |

| From the track proceed directly across the lane junction to go down the lane leading to Borth. When you get to the junction with the Borth-Aberystwyth road, turn right so that after just under a mile after leaving the track you will arrive back at the Lifeboat station start point. |
